The History of Quakers in Godalming
Godalming’s Meeting House is the oldest in the area, predating Guildford’s by nearly a hundred years. Ruth Martin describes how a number of Godalming’s Quakers became important members of the town, influencing the development of its industries and commerce, and hence the development of the town itself.

Recent Community Archaeology Projects
To many the Surrey Community Archaeology Team, Abby Guinness and Hannah Potter, are known for their community trench at Old Woking Palace.
