Surrey Research Framework

Providing the foundations for future archaeological and historical work in SurreySite survey

The Surrey Research Framework (SRF) aims to:

identify the main gaps in our current understanding about Surrey's past

  • set out topics for future research
  • strengthen co-ordination of effort on research into Surrey's historic environment
  • provide the basis for decisions about the targeting of academic research/endeavour
  • provide the basis for decisions about the effective management of the archaeological resource

It has been produced by Surrey Archaeological Society in partnership with Surrey County Council and is intended to be used by anyone interested in the archaeology and history of Surrey. The document is available for download in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format (see below).
