Woking Palace Archaeological Project Open Day
An opportunity to take a free guided tour of the excavations carried out during the fourth season of investigations on this Scheduled Site. In addition to the guided tours there will displays and exhibitions by a variety of local heritage organisations. Access is by foot or cycle. There is no parking at the site or on the private approach road but free parking is available in the centre of Old Woking from where there is a signed route (approx 1 mile) to the site.

This September local people are invited to ‘Dig for a Day’ on the Archaeological Project at Woking Palace – an important Tudor Royal Palace used by Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.
