BLIAUX LITHICS COLLECTION

Some members of the Prehistoric Group have recently catalogued a small collection of lithics deposited at the Lightbox, Woking. These items were collected by Mr Arthur Raymond Bliaux, who had been headmaster of Horsell Primary School from before WW2 until about 1946.

The History of Disability In Surrey
A collection of short films documenting and inspired by stories of people and disability in Surrey from over 100 years ago.

At this special launch event, staged in conjunction with the Surrey History Centre, the films will be introduced by the filmmakers themselves, members of The Freewheelers’ Media Group. The screening will be followed by questions and answers. Light refreshments will be provided.
