My dear friend Thank you for your kindness to my dear girl. Also for the pretty P.C. I expect you have all enjoyed your holiday. I do wish I had been with you. Are you coming back over Monday? or shall you stay longer? How is my Jim? I have not been out much. Tell Jim to send Ernest & Verna a P C each. I will send him some stamps to mount. Love to you all C.M.

Whatever do you think to my aweful result. I was dreadfully disappointed. I was so upset Ma brought me here to blow it off a bit. I am still going to Centre & work again. Mr Bell is awefully upset. Poor man. He could not work yesterday. I do not think you have this one. (continues at right-angle) Love from Flo.
