Dear Robin

Thank you so much for remembering my birthday. Swans are symbolic of (?s).

I had a celebration on Sunday with 8 family here and friends in for Sunday lunch. We had 3 brace of pheasant and a log fire and played a silly game after lunch and it was a bit like Christmas!

Joanna and Jamie, her boyfriend are engaged and plan to be married in Wells Cathedral next July.

Brian and I are off to Venice at the end of this week for 4 days. First visit. No business. Just pleasure.
