Martyn Allen will be talking on Roman rural settlement, focusing on Surrey. He will be dicussing the difficulty of predicting where these settlements are, and looking at some of the available evidence. New projects are needed in this area and it is hoped that this talk may kickstart discussion as to how this can be achieved.
