Times for visiting the Library
The Margary Room at Abinger is open to members and non-members as follows:
Monday : 10.00am-4.00pm
Tuesday : 10:00am-4:00pm
Please make an appointment by contacting the Librarian 01306 731275 or librarian@surreyarchaeology.org.uk
This will allow the Librarian opportunity to ensure required material is available. All members are entitled to borrow up to 6 items for 3 months, books can be renewed for up to a year at two month intervals, reminders to renew will be sent by email. Non-members are welcome to use our resources.
How to find the Research Centre at Abinger
The Research Centre is located at Abinger :
Research Centre, Hackhurst Lane, Abinger Hammer RH5 6SE
By bus : there is a frequent bus service between Guildford and Dorking along the A25 which calls adjacent to Hackhurst Lane.
By train : Gomshall Station on the Guildford-Redhill line is approximately half a mile walk from the school.
By car : There is limited parking available opposite the villlage shop and at the village hall, there is NO parking at the Centre, and you should not attempt to bring your vehicle up the small lane off Hackhurst Lane leading to the premises.
