Powers to deal with the immediate problems associated with the notice given to leave Castle Arch by Guildford Borough Council have been delegated to the Management Committee.  The longer term strategy for the Society also requires thought and discussion and to take this further, the Council are holding a strategic discussion meeting for members on Saturday 27th February following the Symposium. To aid this discussion the Council would very much like members to complete the attached questionnaire.  In order to allow collation of the results we would be grateful if all responses should be sent as soon as possible.

There are two ways to complete and submit the questionnaire:

• Download and printout the form, complete it in hard copy and post it to Emma Coburn at Castle Arch. Please mark your envelope "Members' questionnaire"
• Download and complete the form electronically.  You must save the form to your hard disk regularly whilst you are completing the form and particularly when finished .  Once saved it should be attached to an email addressed to our Honorary Treasurer Mike Edwards at the following address :  maedwards@ntlworld.com.  Please put "Members' questionnaire" in the subject line of the email.

It is not so long since we celebrated our 150th anniversary. We should treat this as an opportunity to refashion our Society for the next 150 years, and our Council would like to hear from you at this critical point.  Please complete this form and send it in and as many as possible attend the discussion after the Symposium.  If you are not attending the Symposium itself, you can still come to Ashtead for this discussion without charge.
