Chris Roberts was a fighter pilot, a flying instructor and a test pilot.
He served a tour with the Arrows, then he was a test pilot at Dunsfold on Harriers, finally becoming a pilot with a charter airline.

Surrey County Archaeological Unit have kindly agreed to show us over the site of their investigations on the line of a water pipeline which crosses the meadows of the River Mole in Fetcham. At least  2 ditches and the outline of part of a building  of the RB period are evident.

Ptolemy Dean, Bsc(Hons) UCL Dip Arch (Edin) RIBA, architect and artist,  will present the Society's Annual Lecture this year.

Ptolemy Dean specialises in the restoration of historic buildings, as well as designing new buildings in keeping with their surroundings. He has written 'The more people who can read and enjoy historic architecture, the more importance architecture will be given in our society'
