A meeting of the Medieval Forum to be held at Bagshot jointly with the Village Studies Group.
The day will include a presentation on the development of the village with a guided walk to view older buildings including a visit to the important medieval wall painting at 44 High Street
Council meeting in the Conference Room at the History Centre starting at 8pm. Tour of building from 7 - 7.45pm followed by refreshments.
The object of the visit is to consider the possibility of moving the Society's offices to the History Centre.
All members of the Society are welcome to attend meetings of the Forum, the next being a day devoted to Surrey's medieval churches, with varied contributions on their architecture and place in society.

A talk by Dr Simon Thurley
Formerly, Curator of the Historic Royal Palaces, and Director of the Museum of London, Dr Simon Thurley is now the Government's principal advisor on the historic environment in England. He is a leading architectural historian, and regular broadcaster on radio and TV, including documentaries and Channel Four's six-part series Lost Buildings of Britain.
