David Calow's searches for a Winchester to London road  have led him to explore sites in the area immediately north of the Hog's Back.
Becky Lambert, of the Surrey County Archaeological Unit, also has worked on sites in the area and she will join David in providing a synthesis of what has been learned from these various investigations.
