We are delighted to welcome Sally Grainger, the well known food historian and author of "Cooking Apicius. Recipes for Today". Her talk will comprise a survey of current thinking on the nature of the cuisine of Roman Italy and its potential spread in Europe.and she will look at the ingredients and the potential recipes, the cooking techniques and consider issues of status and availability.
