Discover life in World War 2 in the field of combat and on the Home Front.

There will be military transport from jeeps and Lorries to a Dingo! No, not the dog but a rare type of scout car. Also a Bren gun carrier Fire engines from the period will be ready to put out the bombs of the Blitz. Meet the Home Guard and an air raid warden – hear about the risks of gas attack and what gas mask to wear. Find out how to put out a fire bomb and take the chance to see and handle many original items from the war. Make do and mend, and try the children’s craft activities. There will be displays of military cooking and somewhere to enjoy the music and dance of the war. Learn what happened in Epsom and Ewell during this turbulent period in history. Bring along your photos and objects from the time and our experts will help you identify them – but please don’t bring anything that explodes!
